Why "Coraline" is One of My Favorite Movies!

This is Josephine back with a new subject. If you watched our previous podcast, you know that one of my favorite movies is Coraline. I talked about it a little, but I couldn't resist telling you more!

Coraline is a movie I hold dear to my heart. Not only am I a huge fan of stop-motion animation, but the story itself is magical. My favorite stories about magic are the ones that don't flaunt it. Stories that kind of live with it without it being the main plot.

Coraline is a pretty spooky story, but it's spooky in a sense that's almost comforting. There's something cozy about the film despite the subject matter. Maybe it's the sense of adventure and curiosity, or maybe it's the animation style and vibe of the story.

Any way you swing it, Coraline is a one-of-a-kind movie. I'll always turn to it on a rainy day or just when I'm having a bad week.
